Patrick has more than 20 years’ experience in general practice and is a fellow member of ACCA. His wealth of knowledge has become invaluable to the clients he supports and advises.
A highly experienced auditor and accountant, Patrick is experienced across a range of activities and with many client types. His expertise ranges from manufacturing, civil engineering through to charities and family wealth management. Patrick’s experience in the construction industry has proved vital to clients.
Patrick’s unique approach to clients and their needs has given him key experience in many niche areas such as corporate recovery, business restructures/valuation, succession and exit strategy.
Starting his employment at A Macdonald & Co in 1994 as a trainee, Patrick quickly showed not only accountancy/tax skills but quickly developed a maturity and attitude which instills confidence in his clients.
After progressing within the firm throughout his employment, Patrick qualified ACCA in 2004 and was promoted to associate partner. He then became full partner at A Macdonald & Co in 2012. In 2018 Patrick became partner in the newly merged practice of Sowerby chartered accountants.
