The service we provide can be flexible based on your preference. We can provide a traditional ‘leave it to us, we’ll do everything in-house’ service, an on-site bookkeeping service where we’ll come to you, or even a cloud-based service giving you real-time access to your own records.

We can offer a full compliance service to relieve you of the day to day burden of VAT compliance.

 

With the impending deadline for Making Tax Digital, the day to day burden could increase.

Our payroll bureau service can operate on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly basis depending on your individual needs.

 

The service we offer is bespoke to each client and can include any, or indeed all of the following:

 

  • Input all payroll data, amendments and tax code changes to the payroll system including the calculation of any back pay and adjustments.
  • Process Attachment of Earnings Orders i.e. CSA, Council Tax deductions
  • Check information for accuracy and verify accordingly.
  • Print payslips and reports for your information including journals for your accounting records. Online, email and security payslips can be processed if required.
  • Process BACS transfer payments.
  • Process payroll information in accordance with the Real Time Information rules.
  • Deal with the workplace pensions auto-enrolment regime.

 

In addition to the above general on-going services, Sowerby will also deal with the following on your behalf.

 

  • Liaise with HMRC regarding any payroll queries.
  • Prepare P45’s, P60’s.
  • Complete forms relating to payroll enquiries.
  • HR advice and assistance with employee issues.

Security and confidentiality are of paramount importance when dealing with payroll. Our experienced payroll staff will only contact those at your business who are authorised to discuss financial matters.
